McDaniel College is a private four-year college of the liberal arts and sciences located in Westminster, which is a city in the northern part of the US state of Maryland, serving as the county seat of Carroll County, with a population of more than 17 600 inhabitants, estimated during the 2008 census.
McDaniel was established in 1867 and it is one of 40 colleges profiled in the book Colleges That Change Lives by Loren Pope.
